Thankful. Days 18, 19, 20.

November 18th. I am grateful for God's creations. The world really is breathtakingly beautiful. Every living thing is really a miracle.

November 19th. I am grateful for spiritual experiences. I am so thankful for the times, select, rare, and poignant, when I know that I am feeling the spirit of God, the Holy Ghost, telling my heart that what I've said, or what someone else has said, or something I've read is the truth, is good, is from God.

November 20th. I am thankful for good food! This may sound shallow, but I seriously feel blessed to have access to delicious food. Nutella, crisp pears, havarti cheese, cheese in general, raspberries, pumpkin pie, gravy, peas, fresh salads with homemade vinaigrette, Chinese food, fast food, baguettes, bread of any sort, potatoes... I love food. I love that I can eat it.

  1. I'd say your gratitude for food is rather the opposite of shallow. :)

Thanks for #2 -- I take it for granted that I *know* things are true. It is an incredible gift that I can surely take more advantage of. Thanks for sharing!

  2. Natalie, Your girls are also quite adorable and it's great to keep up with your family on your blog. The stroller we have is a kelty and it's worked really well for us.
    Hope all is well!

  3. Hey -- thanks for the comment on my blog. Feedback on spiritual though counts as support!

I love the idea of getting together. There might be one small drawback, though. Jon is looking for work back west and is nearly ready to sign a contract. So, yay for a job, but sad to miss another chance to hang with the greatest couple ever!

Hope you guys have a Merry Christmas.
    Love,
    Mary
