Thankful. Day 9.

Oh, this was an easy one. It is all current-events. It is what made me smile from ear to ear yesterday.

November 9th. Thankful for the Ransoms! While there are many, many {cannot emphasize this enough - MANY!} friends and family who help us, support us, love us, I tell ya, that Ransom family was really something recently! Tuesday night JR took the girls so that I could get some studying done (Marc was on call). He babysat. Like it was no skin off his back. 2 hours of productivity - check! Then Wednesday LR volunteered herself to come over for dinner (I cooked a chicken and autumn veggies roast - yum!). The girls played together and THEN she cleaned up my kitchen and put away all the toys. My house wasn't dirty, but it certainly was messy and cluttered with toys and daily living. She was down on her hands and knees, not judging me, cleaning the floor under my table while we chatted away! What?! Then, she picked up and was off. I think it was the random act of kindness thing; the combination of spontaneity meets need. Thank you!
