Question...
How do I "unfollow" someone on Pinterest? Please, help me. There is someone whose pins are a little too much for me and they ALWAYS show up. I'd like to unfollow her ASAP.

Statement...
I have decided to grow out my hair. I'm gonna try to get it past my shoulders. Really past my shoulders. The longest it's ever been. Usually I avoid long hair because I think it makes my face look like a horse. But ya know what? I'm gonna give it a try. {Also, unicorn hair update: it's finally 3 inches long and starting to bend over! It's blending in with the rest of my locks... mostly, more, enough, at least so that I don't have to feel completely self-conscious. Hooray! What a blessing!}

Thought...
I finished The Count of Monte Cristo. Whew! That was epic. I feel a void now. What to do with my time? ;) Hiding away to nurse Sophie has much less appeal now. I have to say, I felt completely obsessed with the book, engulfed with emotions for the first 3/4 of the 978 pages. But, the last 1/4 felt really lackluster to me. Either I had been reading it too long and I just got worn out. Or, I think my sick and twisted nature of revenge leaves me feeling like he started with such a bang and ended with a fizzle. Not that I wanted him to exact his revenge too deeply, but because it was so elaborate, his planning, it was such a pity for it to end the way it did. He seemed burnt out to me. I guess I have to go to book club on this one. But still. Wow. What a novel. Delicious.

Answer...
Yes. Whatever you were just thinking, I say yes!

  1. to unfollow: click on the person's name. you should get their "home page." then under the board you want to unfollow, click the very light button "unfollow." it really looks unclickable, but it's not. if you want to unfollow them completely, again, click on their name. when their page shows up, on the left-hand side, under their picture, is the grand poo-bah of unfollow buttons.

    you just want to do a sock bun, don't you???

  3. Natalie, I totally agree about the Count. I think that the revenge was clever but too creepy to be cool. It's like when you think of the perfect zinger to say to someone after the fact, and think how awesome it would be, but then when you really say the super awesome counter-insult, it doesn't really feel great at all. But how I love Edmond Dantes!

    Someday, let's go tour Chateau d'If!
