SO happy!
Just a little hello from our scallywag, Madeleine! The other night as I was getting her dressed for bed (a very difficult time of the night for me, I might add. By this point my nerves are shot and my patience is paper-thin) she was wiggling so much that I was having a difficult time getting her diaper and PJs on. Typical scenario.
I was exasperated to say the least and unfortunately a little too curt with her.
Me: "Madeleine! Stop wiggling so much!"
M: I'm not so wiggly, Mama. I'm just SO happy!!!"
Me: {melt and ask for forgiveness}
We love this energetic little girl!
Now if could just discover where her "repeat" button is and RIP IT OUT! Whoever manufactured her must have made a mistake, because she is on repetition-mode much too often. Is that the default setting on toddlers? Or just my toddler? ("Mommy, I want juice. Can I have juice, please? I want juice please! Juice, please!" Repeat 20x. Or "Let's read books! Just one book, Mommy! Mommy, c'mon let's read. Read books! Let's read just one more book. Can we read? Let's read books!" Repeat 20x.) I hear the "why" stage is also pretty bad. She's just barely getting into it, but for now, I'll trade "why" for "repeat." I repeat, let's trade out the repeat. :P

So cute and wonderful little girls. though as for the repeat button, we have the opposite problem. I repeat endlessly and they ignore me.
ReplyDeleteBut just think . . . if you don't find the repeat button and disable it, then when you get to the why stage, you'll have endlessly repeated "why"s to deal with.
