Visit and Vacation with the Tolleys

Marc's family came to visit us! This was back in early August, but better late than never. We had an EXCELLENT time. We were bonafide tourists in D.C. We skipped church (!gasp! - unintentionally, though). We visited the Holocaust Museum. We visited Arlington National Cemetery. We went to the Washington D.C. Temple. We ate at a crunchy, poetic cafe in D.C. where even Obama likes to lunch. We played on the Jersey Shore: 7 people cramped into a homey one-room condo (really good family bonding time), swimming in the ocean, running races on the beach, burying Marc in the sand, flying kites, playing hopscotch in the sand, playing volleyball in the sand. Eating the sand (that was Madeleine only).
