Da Belly!

Well, you may have missed these previous posts: announcing I was pregnant/we were expecting and finding out we're having a little girl.

But if you've seen me lately, you probably haven't missed the belly! I'm showing. Which, I guess is normal, since I'm almost 9 months along! I haven't posted as much about my pregnancy as I think about it... which is probably saving some of you some boring reading. But, because this is my first and I'm totally amazed at the human body, I have to say that the belly shots are quite fun. I remember when I thought I was *definitely* showing in December! Ha! How wrong I was! Here's a progression of pictures for any who care to share in the amusement/miracle/joy/obsession - December through early April:

As far as the "how are you feeling?" question: I've been feeling lucky and blessed. My only true complaints are that this little girl apparently hates my liver. She's either biting it or has it in a strong wrestling hold 90% of the time because it kills under my right rib cage. And then sleeping well has been sporadic. Never weeks at a time without sleep, but I'm definitely longing for the day when I can sleep on my stomach again. Or my back for that matter. Every time I roll over in bed from side to side it feels like a cement truck slowing turning the cement and all my innards slowly shift over. It's weird. But I LOVE it!

  4. Hi Natalie and Marc,

Congratulations! I stumbled onto your blog and wanted to let you know in case you were unaware that Amelia Perez's daughter Alexis is going to be baptized this Sunday after church. I know Amelia would want you to know if you don't already.

Good Luck with the little one.
    Love, Rhonda

  5. You are so cute and soooo tiny! I'm extremely flattered that you wanted to borrow some of MY clothes! As funny as it sounds, enjoy the sleep now (ha) because it gets harder to get long stretches of sleep when the baby comes. But having a baby is totally worth everything!! So excited for you!

  9. you are tiny!! (check out the beginning posts on my blog for what I was like at 9 months...like a basketball). I know exactly what you're going through though--I had Annie on the last day of the semester. I finished all my clinical rotations, finals, papers, etc 1 week early--I was a stress case!! Your friend Angela is right though--enjoy the sleep now-even if it is hard to sleep (I remember). You'll be a great mom.

BY the way, what did you decide about school? Good luck!!!
