Welcome Home!

I'm back from a 2 week vacation in Utah. Here are my random thoughts upon arrival home. Not thoughts or recap of my trip to UT. That'll come later.

Mac and cheese tastes SO much better made with cow's milk than soy milk. Cooking with soy milk is a deflating experience.

Oh my goodness the pressure I feel now that I'm home to get the house in order (Marc did a great job while I was away cleaning up his things!), get Sophie on a napping schedule, getting M completely potty-trained through the night, start a garden, set up an actual schedule for when I work on my PhD and when I am home with the girls. I feel overwhelmed.

Whoa! MD is GREEN! Where did the blossoms go? All the trees are covered in leaves! It's so green here!

I re-learned how to Skype.

One lightbulb out in our house makes a world of difference. I cannot see. It's so dark. The trees covered in leaves outside our windows also filters the sunlight a little tooooo much.

Why does Mother's Day always, always sneak up on me??
