It's been ages since some of these pictures were taken... but these pictures capture mostly Madeleine from the beginning of 2009 until now... She's reached many a milestone, but has lots more to learn! Eating has been her area of greatest maturation, while we rue the fact that I haven't consistently got her sleeping alllll through the night (regression!). We've also realized that we've coddled her too much, enabled her, and basically crippled her (we exaggerate, of course)... but 'tis true that her arm strength is pretty pathetic (akin to her mama's), and we need to encourage her wobbly little legs to hold more of her own (very minimal) weight.
Oh, and the awful pictures of her with her face all bloated and blotchy are evidence of her abosolute sensitivity and allergy to milk products. Hives! Other than that, I think she looks pretty darn cute - if not also sometimes a little like a boy. :)

ReplyDeleteI love it! Madeline is absolutely adorable. She is the sweetest thing, I was sad I didn't get to hold her on Sunday. And I can't believe how tiny she is! Do you know that Jacob was 12 pounds at 6 weeks? Madeline is barely 12 pounds at 8 months?
She is very cute, and very girly. Her eyes are so pretty! Those pictures of her with hives are so sad.
