I don't know anything about art and I'm not usually fond of angels with wings, but this painting is so endearing and lovely. It just made me think about Christmas.
The caption tells me it is by William Bourguereau and titled "La Vierge Aux Auges." But I know nothing else about it except that I like it. Any art aficiandos (sp?) out there wanting to educate me?
And lastly in preparation for Christmas, I love listening to A Charlie Brown Christmas, the CD by Vince Guaraldi. I actually listen to it at work even when it's NOT nearing Christmas. As in, I listened to it in June.
