Overcoming Addiction

I work in a health behavior research clinic. The counselors mostly work with people with addictions, specifically tobacco addiction. Now, they tell me (because I'm just a researcher, not a counselor) that in order to successfully discard a habit or addiction, you need to replace it with something else.

I am ready to apply this to my life. I have come to the conclusion that I could replace my addiction to sweets and candy (I've been using for about 24 years consistently now) with CORN ON THE COB! Yes, the sweet, crispy, succulent taste of corn on the
cob is masterfully able to help me refuse, even completely dismiss, any thoughts of or interest in candy. If there are any corn suppliers out there who are lookin' to supply, I can meet the demand!!! Bring it on! It'd make my husband and dentist soooo much happier. And me too!

  2. And now I've added a picture of such delectable corn. We bought 18 ears on Saturday. I'll certainly be your middleman! Now I've also found a dealer whose price will not deter me from being a user: now only 8 ears per $1.99 instead of 10! No problem! I'll buy 'em anyways!
