Madeleine has been fairly humorous lately with her dramatic and sincere outbursts. Yesterday she said something about drinking a cold drink so that it would "go down smooooooothly in my throat and make me feel sooooo nice!"
Marc and I smiled, then he gave me a full body hug and said, "She's so cute. Let's have another baby."
Madeleine turned to us with a startled look and quickly said, "No guys! I just HAD a baby! Here she is! You don't have a baby. I have the baby! I HAD the baby! Let's love her."
Yup. Congratulate us, we are grandparents!
P.S. No, we are not pregnant nor expecting to be any time soon.
P.P.S. Madeleine has been really big into having babies. Not the act of having them, but she is really taking good care of a little pink stuffed bear that she calls her daughter, baby, and sister at various times of the day. She frequently BUYS babies or wants to buy cute babies she sees and also wants to have babies. And said babies have become quite incorporated into our lives. Marc and I have to take turns gazing at her baby, being quiet while she puts baby to sleep, and making sure baby is buckled up in the car. Yeahhhhhhhh....

How funny! Nicole is the same way, only she has a husband and kids. Whew! That was fast!
