Wecome, Spring!

To welcome Spring, Marc and I BOTH took a Saturday to play with the kids. Usually, if he's not working, I am cooped up on the house working on a dissertation proposal draft or research. And if he's on call or working the weekends, then I play with the girls. But last Saturday we BOTH got to enjoy our girls and each other's company. Allllll together! Une famille! Hooray! A free mini-kid-centered theatrical at the National Theatre and kite exhibition at the Air and Space Museum with a little Indian classical and Bollywood dancing thrown in. Sunny and lovely. I loved how we packed the girls (and accessories) into the stroller. We came home exhausted and ready to jump into PJs, and yet the following Sunday Madeleine and Sophie were full of energy and love still!

    I love the stroller picture. Ya'll are people after my own heart. And the interaction between Madeline and Sophie is priceless!

    brett & i want a framed copy of the stroller pic. love it! we also love that you just let madeleine dress in any darn way she wants. the freedom to be a kid. awesome.
