Friends and Mission Reunion

I wanted to also add how grateful I was that I was able to see a few friends from Wellesley and attend my first ever mission reunion when I was in Utah in October. It was wonderful! It was a welcome respite from the labors of my comp exams.
I was so glad to see Katrina and Benjamin and meet the new addition to their family - Sam, who is such a jolly baby! And to see Audry again and hear about her adventures - always something. Thanks for making the effort to drive to ME and hang out! They are just GLOWING and it reminds me of why I think so many Wellesley women ROCK! They are just amazing. Just amazing in all that they do.

I loved attending my mission reunion. Yes, yes, most of the people there actually served on Madagascar the whole time, but there were a few "islanders" there, like me (those who served French speaking on La Reunion and Mauritius). I have so many fond memories of my mission and there is rarely a day that goes by when I don't think about either a funny incident from those days, a scripture that I studied in depth, a family who I loved dearly, or a companion who was an example to me. It was strange to go without Marc and have Madeleine there with me but it was so good to see friends from the mission and to see one of my mission presidents and his wife. They continue to amaze me with the way they live their lives!
