Madeleine is just so tender with and excited about her new pet. Sophie makes these funny cackling noises whenever we talk about the bunny. Marc is happy we have a pet and thinks its a healthy thing for the girls. I oscillate between freaking out that the kids wash their hands 20 times after touching 'the vermin,' and worrying about bunny having depression because she doesn't get enough sun in her cage in our basement. Madeleine has about 4 names for her: cinnabun, girl harold, elda, and liz. She's very soft, forgiving, HUGE, and... yes... cute. We have a bunny. Oh. My. Goodness.

Wow, Nat, you're brave! Good for you. I haven't been brave enough to get a pet yet. I'm probably scarring my children.
