Ahhhhh! The little voices are in my head again. Like a soft, inviting drum beat... "travel, travel, travel, travel..."
Too bad Marc just started school again today and I work. But here is a link that makes my heart dance to a new beat... the "dream of what others are doing" beat. :)
Sudden Journeys by... National Geographic!
The idea of jettisoning off without any planning whatsoever. I'm young, I'm cool, I'm random! I could DO this!
And then I remember that I'm responsible, I'm working, I'm not sooo cool, and not so young either.
Still, who knows what will be the last straw to push me over the edge, over the border, any border! Even a state border at this point! Ttravel...travel...travellllllllllllll. Now it's like drool coming out of the corner of my mouth.
Goal of the week: Be responsibly sporadic.

Ever think of taking a day trip to the Have? We have a spare bed:)
ReplyDeleteohmigoodness i have so much i want to say about my need to travel (and my complete lack of doing so)! but i don't even know where to begin. someday i will stop talking about it and actually quit my job, sell all my belongings and travel until i've seen everything i want to see and met millions of crazy people!
ReplyDeleteWe DO need to take a trip to the Have. And I know we'd have fun! We'll have to plan that. I'm sure it would fulfill some of my travel cravings.
ReplyDeleteHa - our blogs are opposites right now! I just blogged about how good it feels to be home. But traving is great... let me know how being "responsibly sporadic" goes!
ReplyDeleteCalgon take me away! I completely agree, but find myself in the same situation. Those of us with a husband in a busy residency, two young children, and 8 months pregnant don't exactly *go* on vacations...Unless of course your definition of a vacation can include a trip by yourself to the store in a neighboring city! Keep telling myself someday!
